About Project Insight
Project Insight is a private beta for US software and IT buyers. It is being built to normalize quote terms, distinguish the source behind a comparison, and help teams prepare better vendor questions without exposing sensitive deals.
Working principles
The goal is not to make every quote look comparable. It is to make the limits of each comparison easy to understand.
Official public prices, future negotiated cohorts, and illustrative examples answer different questions. The interface should never blur them together.
Missing prices, unverified tiers, small samples, and stale observations stay qualified or withheld rather than being filled with a confident-looking estimate.
Sensitive source material remains private, public outputs are aggregate-only, and a polished result never outruns the controls behind it.
Authentication and the manual quote checker are available. PDF ingestion and OCR are not live public capabilities; billing, automated entitlements, provider verification, and negotiated cohorts are also not live.
Available
Account authentication
Supabase Auth supports account creation, sign-in, and recovery.
Available
Manual quote checker
Commercial terms can be entered without uploading a document; the check stays in the browser.
Not public
PDF ingestion and OCR
The controlled workflow remains closed while live verification is completed.
Not published
Negotiated cohorts
Contributed quotes do not currently appear in public benchmark snapshots.
Not active
Billing and entitlements
There is no checkout, paid subscription, or automated contribution-access clock.
The trust boundary
Raw quote documents and identities are not public benchmark material. Release rules, retention, and current system limits are documented in the trust center.
